Baking With Barb – Sourdough & Sun-dried Tomatoes

Did you know that sourdough is fermented and it’s a healthier option than other types of bread? It has a lower glycemic index than other breads so next time you’re getting toast with your breakfast, ask for sourdough instead of white.

Barbara made a sourdough starter and some awesome loaves of bread out of it this month. One of the loaves she made had some homemade, sun-dried tomatoes from her garden.  There was even some homegrown garlic and rosemary too!
